Admir Mehmedi will not return to Zuerichu. The Swiss club announced on Friday that they have decided not to transfer the former Swiss footballer.
“In the last days and weeks, there have been speculations in the media about a return of Admir Mehmed to Zuerich. For various reasons, we have decided not to sign Admir Mehmed as a player. This was communicated to the player in a consensual and personal conversation”, writes in Zuerich’s announcement.
The 32-year-old is a player of Antalyaspor, a team with which he has a contract until June next year.
He played for Zuerich as a senior from 2008 to 2012. He also had a career at Dynamo Kiev, Freiburg, Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg.
