Liverpool close to the transfer of Szoboszlai
Liverpool are in talks with Leipzig as they look to sign Dominik Szoboszlai from the German club.
The 22-year-old Hungarian, who plays as an attacking midfielder, helped Leipzig finish third in the Bundesliga.
He also won the German Cup in the last edition.
The Hungarian footballer’s release clause is close to 70 million euros.
Szoboszlai made 31 appearances for Leipzig in the Bundesliga last season, contributing six goals and eight assists.
He joined Leipzig from Austrian side Salzburg in January 2021.
Since then, he has scored 20 goals and provided 21 assists in 91 appearances.
Liverpool earlier this month transferred Argentine Alexis MacAllister.
